Experience The Works Museum

Our open-format Experience Gallery is designed for young engineers to explore at their own pace with hands-on activities. Kids can build with K’Nex, test out a giant kaleidoscope, design sturdy structures, and so much more!

The Design Studio

The Design Studio invites visitors to explore the engineering design process through fun, hands-on challenges like building paper rockets, pixelated art, and K’NEX racers. The exhibit blends art, design, and engineering to celebrate creativity and community.

The House

In our exhibit, The House, visitors will explore the engineering that goes into the houses and apartments we live in, such as: plumbing, siding, electrical engineering, and tiling.

With The House, we’re excited to highlight some of the many career paths open to kids interested in STEM, including skilled trades and engineering degrees, while they explore the engineering behind things they interact with every day!

Brick Pixel Pics

Brick Pixel Pics lets brick lovers create 2D art in three innovative ways. Follow a grid and complete a small section of a large-scale, community-built work of art. Snap together a smaller scale image that can be displayed on our gallery wall. And finally, free-build your own creations on our brick base plate covered table.
