Field Trips at The Works Museum

Introduce your students to engineering by booking a field trip to The Works Museum!

Field trips to The Works Museum are perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and elementary students. Our interactive exhibits allow kids to complete electrical circuits, create connections with plumbing pipes, and build and test designs using K'NEX pieces, LEGO-style bricks, KEVA planks, and more! As they explore, students will discover the engineering behind infrastructure and everyday technology and engage with the engineering design process.

Our Experience Gallery is located all on a single level, providing an easy-to-supervise, stress-free experience for educators, and independent exploration for students.

Choose from a museum visit, a hands-on engineering workshop, or both! Our workshops align with Minnesota K-12 Academic Science Standards, seamlessly integrating into your classroom curriculum.

Book a field trip today and empower your students to see themselves in engineering!
