Winter Break Camps at The Works Museum

This Winter break, send the kids to us for hands-on engineering fun!

Camps are open to ages 5-12 (5-year-olds must be currently in Kindergarten).

Monday, 12/27/21

Cardboard Creations: Winter Village – $85/$76.50 member

Use cardboard connecting methods to create a model of a village — with a focus on the fun of winter!  Wire an electrical circuit to light up the night or add some spinning excitement to your town.

Tuesday, 12/28/21

Toy Design – $85/$76.50 member 

Use electricity to power an Operation-style game with a fun narrative that you dream up. Design traps and treats within the game, then bring your creation home with you for hours of fun.

Wednesday, 12/29/21 

Engineering in Technicolor – $85/$76.50 member 

Add some color to your day with a collection of artistic creations that you engineer. Use electricity and weight to create a multicolored doodle pen. Explore lenses and design rainbow eyewear that goes above and beyond simply seeing. Construct a mesmerizing kaleidoscope that will add color to your day.

Thursday, 12/30/21

Lego Toy Factory – $85/$76.50 member 

Join our team of LEGO engineering enthusiasts as we complete challenges and solve problems in an imaginary toy factory. Create a conveyor belt to move items through your factory, test your structure building skills, and design a LEGO sorting tool that you get to take home!
