Join us on special days for drop-in Explore It! events

Experience more hands-on engineering around a particular subject or with visiting partner organizations. No registration is required, just stop in with your family or the young engineers in your life. All activities are included with your Museum admission and free to members. Get ready to Explore It!

Upcoming Explore It! days:

12/2 — Squishy Circuits, 1:00—4:00 p.m.

Explore circuits and electronics – with dough! Featuring special visitors from Squishy Circuits.

12/9 — Tech Take-Apart, 1:00—4:00 p.m.

Roll up your sleeves, put on safety goggles, and dig into the guts of machines and electronics.

1/13 — 3M Visiting Wizards, 1:00—4:00 p.m.

Come in for family-friendly science and engineering demonstrations, and see the Wizards’ exciting 30-minute show. Experience engineering and technology with real scientists and engineers!

12/26 – 1/1 — Cardboard Fort Building, Daytime until 4:00 p.m. when Museum is open

Add on to our visitor-created cardboard fort village in the Discovery Room. Adult helpers required to use cutting tools.
