We are proud to share that The Works Museum has been awarded a Tekne Award in the Collaboration for Community Impact, along with the Minnesota Department of Education, for our E4 Conference. This award recognizes a partnership that demonstrates leadership, dedication, and excellence in delivering an innovation to Minnesota, while meeting an unmet community need. Since 2009, the Works Museum and the Minnesota Department of Education have worked together to plan and present the E4 – Excellence in Elementary Engineering Education Conference. The Works Museum has been developing and presenting engaging engineering education programs for elementary students since 1995, and the Department of Education is committed to excellent education for all Minnesota students. Both organizations are driven by key principles of STEM education and the understanding that education fosters a more productive state.
