A look back at Girl Time 2019

Thank you to everyone who attended our annual Girl Time event here at The Works Museum. This was our biggest Girl Time ever with a record breaking 2,245 participants!

It was a day full of unique opportunities for girls and boys alike to become engineers for the day, learning from female professionals and students in STEM. Girl Time presenters brought their very best hands-on engineering challenges varying from acoustics and recording, to robot demos, catapult building, bridge construction, and programming. The Works Museum’s educator staff also facilitated mini workshops where families built ear harps or coded with Raspberry Pi software.
