Memberships

Enjoy a full year of discovery, laughter, and fun with your young engineers. There’s a membership that’s just right for you.

Our Family Membership (for up to 2 adults and their kids under 18) or Dual Membership (for 2-person households) gives you unlimited visits to our Museum and free admission to our special events including Tech Fest, Robot Day, and Girl Time.

All our memberships give you 10% off on camps, but an Innovators Club Membership gives you 10% off PLUS an extra $60 off if you register for 2 or more camps, in addition to other benefits. This gives you the best deal.

Our Grandparent Membership may be for you. If you are also registering grandkids for camps or want to use your membership to attend other museums when you travel outside the Twin Cities, you may also consider the Innovators Club Membership or our Family Plus Membership.

Innovators Club Memberships allow you to bring one free guest at every visit. Present your member card and a photo ID.

Our Family Plus and Innovators Club Memberships gain you access to free or discounted admission to museums participating in the ASTC Passport Program.*

Our Homeschool Family membership is designed for you. Providing unlimited admission to the museum and events and a discount on homeschool workshops, plus a $5 educator discount is incorporated in the price

Membership benefits:

  • Discounts and early registration for camps (10% plus more for Innovators Club depending on your level, 10% for all other memberships)

  • Discounts on Gift Shop purchases (10% for Innovators Club, 10% for all other memberships)

  • Discounts on birthday parties ($50 for Innovators Club, $25 for all other memberships)

  • Free admission to events including Tech Fest, Robot Day, Girl Time, and Code Day

  • All memberships are tax deductible

  • Discounted admission at our local museum partners

Membership levels:

Dual Membership – $60
Benefits cover the two listed individuals

Family Membership – $80
Benefits cover up to two adults their children 18 and under

Family Plus – $125
Family Membership PLUS free and discounted admission to ASTC Passport Program participating museums. Note: ASTC benefits do not apply to science centers and museums within a 90-mile radius of the location where you are a member. 

Grandparent Membership – $70
Benefits cover up to two adults and their grandchildren 18 and under

Homeschool Membership – $75
Benefits cover up to two adults and their children 18 and under

Seniors, students, and educators receive $5 off Dual or Family Memberships with valid ID. Discounts are already applied to Grandparent and Homeschool memberships.

Support Us

The Works Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators, engineers, and creative problem solvers. We fuel kids’ natural interest and curiosity in science and engineering. A place like no other, The Works Museum offers programs and space where kids can design, create, and collaborate with one another and their families or school groups.

Individual Giving

Support from local and national foundations makes our work possible.  Foundation gifts to our annual fund provide sustaining support for daily expenses.
